Production Operative – Butchery – PM Shift (1330 - 2200)
Boston (Marsh Lane), Lincolnshire
£14.30 per hour + £15.40 overtime | PAYE | Full-Time | Permanent | Immediate Start
Shift Pattern
- PM Shift 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm
- Working any 5 days from 6 (Sunday to Friday)
- Chilled food production environment
- Physical role involving lifting up to 25kg and being on your feet throughout the shift
Join our Butchery Production Team
Pilgrim Foodservice is looking for reliable Production Operatives to join our busy butchery team in Boston.
This is a hands-on role preparing fresh meat products for customers across the UK. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help ensure every order meets our high standards for quality, accuracy and food safety.
Please note: This role involves handling fresh meat products. No animals are slaughtered on site.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing, trimming, cutting and packing fresh meat products
- Picking and labelling customer orders accurately
- Using production equipment and hand tools safely
- Working towards daily production targets
- Maintaining high food hygiene, health and safety standards
- Keeping your work area clean, organised and tidy
What we're looking for
- Experience as a Production Operative, Food Production Operative, Factory Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Warehouse Operative or within butchery is beneficial, but full training is provided.
- Comfortable working with fresh meat products.
- Able to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Reliable with good attendance and timekeeping.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Right to work in the UK.
